Take the train from London Paddington, getting off in Totnes (the train’s final destination is Penzance). The train journey from London Paddington is 2h45 minutes. From Totnes, you can either take the bus to Kingsbridge and Salcombe from right outside the train station (if you are staying in Kingsbridge / Salcombe) or get a taxi to any of the villages or towns listed in the accommodations section. Taxis are expensive, so we suggest traveling in groups as much as possible, or renting a car wherever possible.

For those arriving at Totnes Train Station, taxis will typically pick you up directly outside the station. If you prefer cutting the cost of your taxi, we can suggest you share with other guests, or take the bus from Totnes to Kingsbridge, and book a taxi from Kingsbridge to your accommodation in any of the villages listed above. The bus stop can be found right next to the station, and takes you directly to Kingsbridge, before driving on to Salcombe.
